Mugs of Hot Drinking Chocolate with Vanilla Sea Salt

 

1 cup heavy cream

2 cups milk

12 ounces dark chocolate, finely chopped

4 pinches tasteful additions Vanilla sea salt

Tasteful Additions vanilla balsamic vinegar

 

Heat the cream and milk in a small saucepan over medium heat until steaming but not boiling. Stir in the chocolate and keep stirring until completely melted. Remove from the heat and let cool for 30 minutes. The chocolate will thicken slightly. Reheat over low heat, stirring often, until steam rises from the surface. Stir in some of the salt and/or salt the rim of warmed mugs. If desired, add a dollop of whipped cream and drizzle tasteful additions Vanilla balsamic vinegar and a pinch of the salt as garnish for presentation.
