Tasteful Additions Shrimp Scampi

1 1/2 pound jumbo shrimp, shelled and deveined, and patted dry

Tasteful Additions Sel Gris salt

freshly ground black pepper

3 tablespoons Tasteful Additions Roasted Garlic EVOO, for sautéing

Pinch of hot pepper flakes

1/2 cup dry white wine

2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice

2 teaspoons finely chopped Italian parsley


Arrange the shelled, deveined, and patted dry shrimp on a plate. Season with Tasteful Additions Sel Gris and freshly ground black pepper.

Heat a sauté pan on high heat. Reduce the heat to medium-high and add the roasted garlic olive oil. Heat the oil for about 30 seconds and then add the shrimp. Cook for 30 seconds, and then add the white wine. Stir to combine and coat the shrimp. Make sure the shrimp are spread out evenly throughout the pan. Increase the heat to the high setting and let the wine come to a boil for 2-3 minutes. Stir in the lemon juice, fresh parsley and hot pepper flakes. Divide the shrimp among 4 plates or arrange on a platter and serve. You may serve the shrimp alone, with Italian bread, over pasta, or over rice (for gluten-free version).
